There is many apps that better that Obsidian. And what obsidian do? It just make plugin that can do the same that this apps does better that Obsidian. The more you hit Obsidian the stronger it becomes with his plugins :)

Anytype is fast because it works perfectly offline. That's one reason why I switched from Notion to Anytype.

Im trying to merge Evernote and Things 3 into Amplenote, however I find quite confusing the tasks part. First, I see it has to be linked to a note. So let’s say I created a note called “subscriptions” to all my apps/services subscriptions reminders before renewing. However for example I completed on and it got hidden until it repeats in a month. But by mistake, I created three of them and now I’m unable to delete duplicated tasks. Could you help me out here, and why not, do a tutorial video exclusively on tasks in Amplenote? Same for calendar. Even with a Pro subscription, I’m only able to view it. To edit, I have to go to the Calendar app from Apple. Is it normal? Thanks

I loved the idea of Amplenote, but something was just really missing in the execution for me. Same for Anytype. Both are projects I want to support moving forward, as I think their missions are stellar. But currently, Capacities just blows everyone else out of the water, in my opinion.

So, probably not the first person to think this. but it totally seems feasible to recreate this type of system in obsidian. Like down to the different dashboards. And page formats for. various objects. I think the only limitation is the integration with an email client. which admittedly is extremely cool. Has anyone had a similar thought or potentially even attempted to recreate this system yet?

anytype seems more complex to me than notion.

Very cool to see where we've ended up since the 2020 Roam and Obsidian hype. Each one of these is tempting to switch to from Obsidian, except that my setup works well enough right now that I'm not sure it's worth making a switch when I'm sure there's even more development of this space right around the corner xD

Easel isn't available on Windows yet, and neither is little Arc 😔. But the features that are here, I am enjoying so far. I need a screenshot feature though.

I've tried many note-taking apps, moving from Obsidian to Anytype due to syncing issues. I found Notion excels as a business management tool, especially for spreadsheets and databases, but its online-only functionality and poor mobile syncing are frustrating. I now use Anytype for personal knowledge management, Notion's web version for business, and Todoist with Google Calendar for daily tasks. This setup works perfectly for me.

People? Who? Thıs person is out of mind. Obsidian is speedlight beyond any of these apps. The only future proof and reliable is Obsidian.

Anytype is not available on the web, so it contradicts your requirements at the beginning of the video.
